Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
Seven Resourcing is recruiting for a Senior Digital Systems Officer to join a busy ICT service on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced digital systems or ICT professional to support the effective delivery, development and ongoing management of digital systems and services.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting digital systems, resolving technical issues, improving processes and ensuring systems continue to meet the needs of the organisation and its users. There will be a requirement to attend offices across Carmarthenshire as part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the effective management, maintenance and development of digital systems and ICT services.
- Provide technical expertise and support to colleagues and system users.
- Investigate and resolve complex system issues, escalating where appropriate.
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the implementation, configuration and testing of new systems, upgrades and digital solutions.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Ensure digital systems are maintained in line with relevant policies, procedures and security requirements.
- Support the development and improvement of digital processes and service delivery.
- Produce and maintain accurate system documentation, guidance and records.
- Assist with system changes, projects and wider ICT transformation initiatives.
- Provide advice and guidance to users on the effective use of digital systems.
- Ensure a high standard of customer service and effective communication with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a digital systems, ICT, systems support or similar technical role.
- Experience supporting and troubleshooting complex digital or ICT systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
- Experience working collaboratively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Good understanding of digital systems, system administration and service improvement.
- Ability and willingness to travel to and attend offices across Carmarthenshire when required.
