Job Description: Lead Swimming Teacher – Old Windsor
Are you a passionate, experienced and customer-focused swimming instructor? HydroKidz by SwimExpert is looking for an outstanding Lead Swimming Teacher to oversee and deliver our high-quality small-group swimming programme at our Old Windsor venue.

Our HydroKidz programme delivers high-quality small-group lessons based on the Swim England National Plan, with a strong focus on progression, enjoyment and customer experience.
Current Available Hours
- Wednesday: 4:00pm – 6:30/7pm + Option for Private lessons until 9pm
- Thursday: 4:30pm – 6:30pm/7pm + Option for Private lessons until 9pm
Role Available – Lead Swimming Teacher
Take on a leadership role combining teaching, venue management, staff support and customer engagement.
A session supplement is payable in addition to your hourly rate, depending on attendance levels. This typically equates to an additional £500–£1,000 per annum per session.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee venue opening and closing procedures.
- Deliver exceptional small-group swimming lessons.
- Supervise lessons to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
- Support, mentor and provide feedback to teaching staff.
- Act as the main point of contact for parents and customers.
- Complete administrative tasks relating to lesson delivery.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the venue.
Requirements
- Swim England (ASA) Level 2 or STA Full Swimming Instructor qualification (or equivalent).
- Recognised pool rescue certification.
- Previous swimming teaching experience.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A passion for swimming and delivering outstanding swimming lessons.
