Easyglaze is looking for an experienced uPVC window and door service engineer to support our established Lincoln-based business on a flexible, part-time basis.
This opportunity may suit an experienced industry professional looking for fewer hours, flexible working and varied local service work.
Main duties
- Attend window and door service calls
- Diagnose faults and identify the work or parts required
- Adjust windows, doors, hinges, locks and keeps
- Carry out minor remedial work and replace suitable hardware
- Deal with glazing, gasket and operational issues where appropriate
- Record findings clearly and report any further work required
- Communicate professionally with customers and office staff
- Help resolve snagging and installation-related problems
Work may include uPVC windows, composite doors, French doors, patio doors, conservatories and replacement glass units.
About you
You should have:
- Strong experience repairing and adjusting uPVC windows and doors
- Good practical knowledge of locks, hinges, keeps, glazing and hardware
- The ability to diagnose problems and work independently
- A reliable and organised approach
- Good customer communication skills
- A full UK driving licence
Working arrangement
Flexible part-time hours, with days and working times arranged to suit the successful applicant and the needs of the business.
