The role
We are looking for a CNC Press Brake Operator to join our production team.
Experienced operators are preferred, but we will also consider hardworking candidates who have the right attitude and are committed to learning. Training can be provided for suitable applicants.
Main duties
- Set and operate CNC press brakes.
- Organise the shift’s workload to meet production schedules.
- Read and follow drawings and production cards.
- Produce accurate and consistent bends within company tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts and record quality checks.
- Report and record any rejected or remade parts.
- Complete job cards and production paperwork accurately.
- Communicate progress or problems to production management.
- Identify, inspect and look after press-brake tooling.
- Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance.
- Batch, label and safely store finished parts.
- Keep the press area clean, organised and free from hazards.
- Follow company safety, quality and ISO procedures.
What we are looking for

- Comfortable working to production targets and quality standards.
- Able to read engineering drawings or willing to learn.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Previous press-brake or manufacturing experience
- A driving licence would be useful for occasional deliveries.
Pay and benefits
- 4 Day working week
- Day shift: £15.18per hour
- Back shift: £18.21 per hour
- Day-shift overtime: £22.77 per hour
- Back-shift overtime: £25 per hour
- Annual discretionary performance based bonus
- 31 days’ holiday, including bank holidays
- Additional holiday after five years’ service, increasing by one day per year up to five additional days

Shift pattern
The role operates on a two-week rotating shift pattern:
- Day shift: 6:00am–2:00pm
- Back shift: 4:00pm–2:00am
Applicants must be able to work both shifts.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,400.00-£33,775.00 per year
