Overview
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on performance marketing specialist to take ownership of marketing efficiency and effectiveness across our iGaming operations. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting directly into leadership, you will independently audit existing marketing spend and campaign performance, identify inefficiencies, and take direct action to improve results. You'll also be capable of building and executing campaigns yourself where needed, not just reviewing others' work.
Duties
- Performance auditing: Review and assess existing marketing campaigns and spend allocation against CPA, ROAS, and LTV benchmarks; identify inefficiencies, waste, or exaggerated performance claims from internal teams or external vendors/agencies
- Campaign execution: Build, launch, and manage marketing campaigns directly across Google Ads, Meta/Facebook Ads, programmatic platforms, and affiliate channels when required
- Budget management: Own and reallocate marketing budgets based on data-driven performance analysis, adjusting spend across channels to maximise ROI
- SEO & keyword research: Conduct keyword research and organic search optimisation to complement paid campaign performance
- Competitor & market research: Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and target audience research across relevant geographic markets
- Vendor/agency oversight: Monitor and manage relationships with external marketing agencies and affiliates, ensuring accountability and challenging underperformance
- Multi-jurisdictional strategy: Apply market-specific marketing knowledge across multiple jurisdictions
- Creative coordination: Work with creative teams to produce compelling, compliant ad content tailored to different audiences and regulatory standards
- Technical fluency: Understand server-side tracking, affiliate postback/S2S setup, geo-targeting, and network/domain configuration sufficient to assess technical claims from internal teams and vendors
- Regulatory awareness: Maintain strong awareness of gambling marketing compliance requirements and advertising standards relevant to regulated markets
- Reporting: Deliver clear, data-backed performance reporting to leadership, translating campaign data into actionable business insight
- A/B testing: Design and run testing frameworks across creative, audience segments, and channel allocation to continuously improve efficiency
Qualifications
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in performance marketing, with demonstrable experience in the iGaming industry specifically (non-negotiable)
- Proven track record managing significant media budgets (7-8 figure annual spend preferred)
- Strong fluency in performance metrics: CPA, ROAS, LTV, attribution modelling
- Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta/Facebook Ads, and affiliate/programmatic platforms
- Experience auditing or overseeing external marketing agencies or affiliate networks
- Solid understanding of SEO practices and keyword research
- Working knowledge of server-side tracking, postbacks, and network/geo-configuration as it relates to marketing and compliance
- Experience operating across multiple regulatory jurisdictions, ideally including emerging/less-regulated markets
- Strong understanding of gambling marketing compliance and advertising standards
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to independently identify inefficiency or inflated performance claims
- Comfortable working autonomously and reporting directly to senior leadership
- Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex marketing/technical concepts clearly to non-marketing stakeholders
This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated marketing professional eager to lead innovative campaigns in the competitive iGaming landscape while ensuring compliance across multiple markets.
