Support Worker – Female Staff Required
We are looking for female Support Workers to join a friendly and supportive team providing high quality care and support to an individual in their home and community.
The role involves supporting an individual who requires a degree of manual handling, so confidence and willingness to undertake moving and handling tasks is essential. A full driving licence is also required.
We are looking for people who are:
- Proactive and able to use their own initiative
- Friendly, chatty and outgoing
- Positive, patient and approachable
- Comfortable working as part of a close knit team
- Confident with manual handling
- Reliable and responsible
- Someone who enjoys having a laugh and sharing a good joke!
No two days are necessarily the same, and this role is ideal for someone who enjoys building a positive relationship with the individual they support while helping them live as independently and actively as possible.
The role
You will work alongside a dedicated team to provide person centred support, assisting with day to day activities, community access and personal care where required, as well as supporting the individual's independence and wellbeing.

- Cooperate with the House manager, Area manager and Service Manager in providing a happy, caring, and secure home life for the individuals, together with a well-structured programme of leisure activities and sociable events.

- Build positive relationships with families and friends of those who are using our services that demonstrate that we care about the work we do in supporting people to live the best possible life day to day.
- Record and report about a person you are assisting progress, including any issues which may need further help or support
- To contribute to the implementation of support plans with a person who is accessing our services and (where required) their families, that fully involves them and reflects their strengths, needs and assists them in living the best possible life.
