*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team in providing high-quality childcare services in our new nursery based next to the Headingley Station building. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess strong leadership skills to oversee daily nursery operations.
*Responsibilities*
- Manage and lead a team of nursery staff to ensure the smooth running of the nursery room
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children
- Drive continuous improvement in nursery practices and procedures
- Supervise and support staff in delivering outstanding care to children
*Requirements*
- Previous experience working in childcare or early childhood education
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- A passion for working with children and supporting their growth and development
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent qualification is required
- Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
