Tiler – Social Housing Reactive Maintenance

The Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Tiler to join a large housing association, carrying out reactive maintenance and repairs across social housing properties in Kensington & Chelsea.
You will be responsible for completing high-quality tiling repairs and associated maintenance works within occupied and void properties, delivering excellent customer service while working efficiently to agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out reactive tiling repairs and maintenance within social housing properties.
- Complete wall and floor tiling repairs to a high standard.
- Remove and replace damaged or defective tiles.
- Prepare surfaces prior to tiling, including minor making-good works.
- Repair grout, sealant and other associated finishes.
- Work across kitchens, bathrooms, communal areas and other residential properties.
- Diagnose repair requirements and identify the appropriate materials and solutions.
- Complete works within agreed timescales and productivity targets.
- Maintain accurate records of completed works using relevant systems.
- Work professionally within occupied properties and minimise disruption to residents.
- Liaise with residents and other trades where required.
- Follow company health & safety procedures and relevant housing regulations.
- Maintain company vehicle, tools and equipment to a high standard.
- Deliver a professional service and represent the housing association positively.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Tiler.
- Experience within social housing, property maintenance or reactive repairs is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of tiling techniques and associated repair works.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
