What will the apprentice be doing?
This is an exciting opportunity to begin a career in eCommerce warehousing & fulfilment within a well established and growing business.
This role is ideal for someone who has just left school or is in college looking for a part time job that fits around their full-time studies. This is an opportunity to become a part of a friendly and supportive team where we will teach you everything you need to know to thrive in this role.
The Warehouse Operative position includes:
- Picking & Packing: Working with a team to ensure a fast fulfilment of online orders
- Operating and handling equipment safely & proficiently
- This will include pallet trucks and may include forklift trucks (training provided)
- Taking part in weekly stock checks
- Ensuring that all health & safety procedures are strictly adhered to, whilst maintaining a safe & clean working environment
- Assisting with goods in, quality checks and sorting products
- Moving stock and replenishing the picking shelves
- Assisting with goods out on collection of the orders by our couriers
We are looking for someone who:
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Has a ‘can do’ attitude and prepared to go the extra mile
- Good physical strength and ability to perform physical tasks all day, ability to lift boxes of up to 25kg and carry them for short distances.
