About the Role
We are happy to announce a new full-time position for a Service Engineer based in Bath/Stroud/Swindon or surrounding areas.
The applicant will have strong experience in HVAC service, repair, fault-finding and maintenance to support our existing client base.
The successful candidate will also join the on-call rota to provide out of hours assistance. This is typically 1 week in every 7. There is potential for overtime should the opportunity present itself.
Responsibilities (not limited to)
- Planned and reactive refrigeration and air conditioning maintenance across customer sites
- Conduct troubleshooting and ensure efficient system operation
- Diagnosing faults and recommending repairs/replacements where required
- Work in accordance with client Service Level Agreement (SLA) timeframes
- Communicate effectively with customers
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation
Essential Skills / Experience
- Valid work authorisation to work in the UK
- Must have at least 3 years HVAC experience
- F-gas certification
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Flexible and can-do attitude
- CSCS Card
- IPAF Certification would be advantageous
- Full, Clean driving license
Remuneration & Package
- Up to £20.75 per hour, contracted 40 hours per week
- Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week + overtime rate once exceeded
