About the Role
Palm Yorkshire is looking for a reliable and skilled Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our growing team. You'll be working on long-term social housing contracts across Yorkshire, focusing on void and tenanted properties, carrying out a wide range of internal refurbishment, responsive maintenance, and planned works.
This is not just a joinery role — it’s ideal for a tradesperson with a solid joinery background and additional skills in plumbing, tiling, patch plastering, and general property maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- 1st & 2nd fix joinery – skirting, doors, architraves, window boards
- Full kitchen fitting – units, worktops, panels, trims
- Bathroom joinery – boxing in, bath panels, window boards
- Internal/external door hanging and ironmongery
- Patch plastering & boarding to make good damaged walls/ceilings
- Wall and floor tiling – bathrooms, kitchens, splashbacks
- Basic plumbing – taps, wastes, isolation valves, silicone sealing
- Supporting full refurbishments as part of a wider team
- Working in line with H&S regulations and high-quality workmanship standards
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Joiner (minimum 4 years)
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery (preferred but not essential)
- Own tools essential
- Full UK driving licence
- CSCS card (preferred)
- Good understanding of health and safety practices
- Ability to work alone or as part of a multi-trade team
- Friendly, professional approach to tenants and site staff
