Reports to & role within Project Team: Reporting directly to the Site Manager daily and ultimately to the Managing Director.
Job Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Telehandler / Labourer to join our team on a busy housing development site in Tyldesley. This is a temporary role, running for approximately 2 months, with an immediate start available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a telescopic forklift (approximately 50% of the role)
- Perform general labouring duties as required
- Conduct daily maintenance checks (oil, tyre pressure, fuel levels)
- Assist tradespeople on-site
- Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential, as some on-road driving may be required)
- Proven experience on construction sites
- Good level of physical fitness and willingness to carry out manual work
- Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to use initiative
- Able to provide recent work references, ideally from similar roles
Please note: Labouring is a key part of this role and candidates must be willing to undertake these duties on a daily basis.
