We currently have an opportunity for someone to join the team in our Manchester M11 2WJ Depot as a Class 2 Driver delivering fresh produce to a number of outlets across Northwest and Cheshire.
What you will need:
Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
Experience of multi drop deliveries.
A flexible approach to work.
A Can Do attitude.
Comfortable working to tight deadlines.
Excellent customer service skills.
Duties & Responsibilities will include:
Promote a positive perception of the Company both internally and externally
Load and unload the vehicles with fresh produce. (Manual handling weights of up to 25kg on a regular basis)
Check orders on and off vehicles
Undertake pre-loading checks as required
Drive a range of vehicles up to 26 tonne (subject to relevant license)
Completion of Daily Vehicle Checks and completion of all other relevant documentation
Maintain vehicle temperature control as required for food safety or quality purposes
Keep vehicle temperature performance records as instructed
Be polite and courteous to customers and colleagues
Full co-operation of customer site specific safety policies and procedures
Comply with all Health and Safety and hygiene requirements
Wear Company uniform as provided at all times
Ensure the vehicle load compartment is maintained in a hygienic condition and associated records are kept up to date
Undertake any training as deemed necessary by the Company
Undertake any other reasonable duties as required
Hours: 40 hours per week
Start Times 4AM - depending on the route, shift time may vary
Transport Manager will schedule your days off and Saturday working - Rota based
