Job Description: HGV Class 1 Truck Driver

Key Responsibilities
- Safe Operation: Operate Class 1 trucks safely and efficiently in compliance with legal and company requirements.
- Material Transport: Load, transport, and deliver materials such as jumbo bags, pallets, or blocks to various locations.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily vehicle checks, ensuring the truck is in good working condition. Report any issues promptly.
- Route Planning: Plan routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel and time efficiency.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant traffic and transport laws, as well as health and safety regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and site personnel, ensuring a positive representation of the company.
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 License
- Driver CPC Certification and up-to-date Digi Tachograph Card
- Valid MPQC Card
- Experience driving (preferably 1+ years)
- Excellent understanding of transport regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Flexibility to work varying hours and occasional weekends if required
