Zen Educate is seeking a caring, motivated, and proactive Childcare Practitioner to join a local primary school in the heart of Cardiff. This role is ideal for someone who is professional, diligent, and takes pride in delivering high-quality care and education to young children.
You will play a key role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports children’s development, learning, and curiosity.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote children’s learning and development
- Supervise and actively engage with children during play, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Maintain a clean, organised, and inspiring nursery environment
- Assist the lead educator with daily routines, individual care needs, and inclusive practices
- Complete accurate record-keeping and contribute to progress reporting
- Work collaboratively as part of a professional early years team
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months’ experience working within a nursery or early years setting (essential)
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A genuine passion for early years education and child development
