GetFix Ltd are looking for a motivated Assistant Electrical Project Manager to join our to join our team and develop into a capable, commercially aware project manager.
This role is best suited to someone who has electrical experience and is looking to gain experience and a qualification in project management.
Working directly with an experienced Project Manager, you will receive hands-on training across the full project lifecycle—from reviewing enquiries, estimating and quoting new works through to planning, delivery, commissioning and final handover. This role requires the successful applicant to undertake an Assistant Project Manager Qualification via the Apprenticeship route.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and delivering electrical projects from enquiry to completion.
- Support estimating, material take-offs and preparation of quotations for new works.
- Coordinate labour, materials, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Maintain project programmes, cost trackers, progress reports and records.
- Assist with procurement, variations, technical queries and client communication.
- Support quality inspections, testing, commissioning and project handover.
What you'll have:
- Understanding of electrical installations and construction activities gained via experience on site.
- Good organisation, communication and numerical skills.
- Competent with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Ability to read or learn to interpret drawings and specifications.
- Proactive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Electrical, engineering or construction-related qualification.
- Experience as an electrician, electrical mate, supervisor or project coordinator.
- Previous exposure to estimating, quotations or material take-offs.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Bluebeam or project-management software.
- Experience working on commercial or industrial electrical projects.
- ECS/CSCS card or relevant site-safety certification.
