Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Toddler Room Leader to inspire and nurture our younger learners. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the daily operations of the toddler classroom, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and stimulating environment for young children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
- Foster strong communication with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and daily experiences
- Manage classroom routines including meal times, naps, play periods, and learning activities with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Support team members by providing guidance, mentorship, and ongoing training to uphold high standards of childcare and education
- Maintain accurate records of children’s developmental milestones, attendance, and health information in compliance with licensing requirements
- Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed at all times to create a secure environment for children and staff
Requirements
- Proven management experience in early childhood education or childcare settings, particularly with toddlers or nursery-aged children
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively
- Extensive experience working with children in nursery or early childhood education environments
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members
- Knowledge of childcare regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices in early childhood development
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and positivity
- Valid driver’s license preferred for transportation needs or community engagement purposes
