Are you looking to build a career in commercial insurance sales? Motum Insurance Services is looking for a driven, personable New Business Executive to join our Kettering branch.
We're an FCA-regulated insurance broker with a network of local branches, combining national resources with genuinely local relationships. You'll be selling commercial insurance – property, liability and fleet cover – to businesses across our region, through a mix of your own prospecting and warm leads we provide.
What you'll be doing:
- Self-generating new business through cold-calling, networking and local relationships
- Converting leads we provide from marketing campaigns, referrals and inbound enquiries
- Getting to know prospective clients' businesses and finding the right cover for them
- Preparing quotes and negotiating terms with insurers
- Working towards monthly and quarterly new business targets
What we're looking for:
- Some experience in sales, business development or a customer-facing role (insurance experience isn't essential)
- A confident, resilient, target-driven attitude – you're comfortable picking up the phone
- Great communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly
- A full UK driving licence, and you're happy travelling locally to meet clients
- A genuine interest in building a career in commercial insurance
What's in it for you:
- £24,000–£28,000 basic salary, dependent on experience
- Uncapped commission – realistic first-year OTE £32,000–£35,000+
