Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organised Associate Front of House to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide support, ensure smooth front-of-house operations, and deliver excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette and direct enquiries appropriately
- Ensure the front-of-house area remains tidy and welcoming at all times
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with food safety regulations
- Support with stock replenishment and inventory management
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and maximise sales opportunities
- Follow all health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling of food and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to ensure orders are prepared promptly and accurately
Skills
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining friendly customer interactions
- Culinary experience or kitchen background is a plus but not mandatory
