Job Overview:
We are seeking x2 Class 2 Vehicle Breakdown Recovery Operative Living / Based around the Cambridge / Newmarket Area, Surrounding Areas are fine.
Reliable, Hardworking and willing to do long days is a must. This can be a very demanding job, rain, snow, mud the lot, really rewarding job and every day is different.
As a Recovery Operative you will be responsible for assisting and recovering vehicles from the roadside, in the local counties.
This position requires a full valid Class 2 driver's license ( Max 3 Points ) & Clean DBS. Current CPC & Tacho a must.
Duties:
-Daily Vehicle Checks
-Spare Wheel Changes
-Battery Jump Starts
-Loading and Unloading Disabled Vehicles Safely, Including Motorcycles. Training will be given.
-Dealing with vehicles in dangerous locations, including hard shoulders and ditches
-Dealing with vulnerable members of the public.
-Keeping Vehicles clean and tidy
-Other typical duties associated with this type of role
Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar position.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle repairs is preferred
- Experience Driving down tight country roads is a must
- Excellent customer service is a must as you will be in the truck with customers everyday.

40k Per Year, Paid Weekly
0730 - 1830 , 11 Hour Days Minimum.
You will work every other weekend and have a day off in the week every week. So 4 days on 3 off one week, 6 on 1 off the other week.
Regular Overtime which is available 365.
You will take the truck home, a safe and legal place to park the truck is obviously a must.
This is a 24/7 365 business , so working over the Christmas and bank holiday periods is standard.
