We're looking for an experienced Website Performance Manager on a 12 Month FTC to play a key role in one of our most significant digital transformation projects – the development and launch of a new global corporate website.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a digital marketing professional with strong website management experience who has supported major website launches, rebrands or digital transformation projects and thrives in complex, matrix organisations.
As Website Performance Manager, you'll be the number two lead on a major website redevelopment project, working closely with the Senior Marketing Communications Operations Manager and external web agency to deliver a new WordPress-based corporate website.
You'll be responsible for helping drive the project forward, coordinating stakeholders, validating website functionality, testing user journeys, supporting agency delivery and ensuring a smooth transition from our existing platform. At the same time, you'll oversee the performance and continuous improvement of our current website, ensuring an excellent customer experience throughout the transformation.
This role requires someone who is equally comfortable discussing digital marketing strategy, website user experience, content governance and technical website functionality.
- Support delivery of Oxford Instruments' new global website platform.
- Act as a key point of contact between internal stakeholders and the external web development agency.
- Coordinate testing, validation and quality assurance activities.
- Review website functionality, customer journeys and user experience.
- Track and manage website change requests and project deliverables.
- Support website content migration and launch activities.
- Monitor progress against project plans and identify risks or issues.
- Maintain and optimise the current corporate website while the new platform is under development.
- Monitor website performance, user behaviour and customer journeys.
- Identify opportunities to improve usability, engagement and conversion performance.
- Support SEO best practice and ensure website content remains optimised.
- Manage website updates, enhancements and maintenance activities.
- Track and resolve website issues, errors and broken links.
- Line manage and support a small web team.
- Build strong relationships with marketing, product and regional stakeholders.
- Collaborate across both B2B and B2C customer-focused marketing activities.
- Ensure consistent brand experience across global digital channels.
- Work within a complex international business environment, balancing multiple priorities and stakeholder requirements.
We're looking for an experienced digital marketing and website professional who can confidently bridge the gap between marketing, technology and project delivery.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, website management or web operations.
- Experience supporting major website launches, migrations, rebrands or digital transformation projects.
- Strong understanding of website architecture, CMS platforms and user experience principles.
- Experience working with external digital agencies and managing supplier relationships.
- Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within complex, matrix organisations.
- Previous line management experience.
- Strong understanding of SEO, website performance and digital customer journeys.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working across both B2B and B2C environments.
- Experience of WordPress CMS.
- Understanding of HTML and CSS.
- Experience working in scientific, technology or engineering-led organisations.
