Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Gymnastics Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for instructing and motivating gymnasts of various ages and skill levels, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all participants. This role offers an exciting opportunity to foster athletic development, promote teamwork, and inspire confidence through specialised coaching in gymnastics.
Duties
- Plan and deliver engaging gymnastics training sessions tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Demonstrate proper techniques for various gymnastic moves and routines, ensuring safety at all times
- Monitor participants’ progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
- Organise and supervise warm-up, cool-down, and conditioning exercises
- Maintain a safe training environment by adhering to health and safety regulations
- Foster a positive atmosphere that encourages participation, teamwork, and personal growth
- Assist in organising gymnastics competitions, showcases, or events as required
- Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and achievements of gymnasts
Requirements
- Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within gymnastics or similar disciplines
- Strong knowledge of gymnastic techniques, safety procedures, and training methodologies
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire participants of all ages
- Ability to plan structured lessons that are both educational and enjoyable
- A recognised coaching qualification or relevant certification is desirable but not essential for entry-level candidates
- Enthusiasm for working with children and young adults in a sporting environment
- Ability to work flexible hours during weekends as needed
