Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistants to join our team looking after individuals from the age of 18. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with complex needs in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to follow care plans effectively. This position requires a proactive approach to assisting clients with daily activities and personal care.
Duties
- Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Support individuals with mobility and transfers as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in care or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A caring attitude towards individuals in need of assistance, demonstrating empathy and respect.
