Are you passionate about education and developing the next generation of school support staff? We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Hourly Paid Lecturer to deliver our NCFE Level 2 and Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning courses as part of our evening provision.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced education professional or practitioner to inspire adult learners looking to start or progress their careers in schools and educational settings.
About the role:
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, engaging evening classes that support learners to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in support roles within education.
Drawing on your professional experience, you will bring real-world insight into the classroom, helping learners understand best practice in supporting teaching and learning.

Planning, delivering and assessing engaging, high-quality lessons.

- Contributing to the ongoing development and quality of the provision.

What we’re looking for:

Experience working in an educational setting (e.g. Teaching Assistant, HLTA, or Teacher).
- A strong understanding of NCFE Level 2 and/or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning
- A passion for adult education and inclusive teaching.
- A relevant qualification in education or childcare.
- A recognised teaching qualification, or willingness to work towards one.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to supporting learners and maintaining high standards.

Any successful candidates will be required to complete a structured training pathway, unless they already hold the relevant qualifications. This includes a two-week teacher induction (must be completed within probation), followed by the Award in Education and Training (AET) including Assessor is required, and then the Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher (LST) apprenticeship. Completion of this structured learning programme is expected within 3 years. Furthermore, there is the option to pursue Qualified Teacher Learning Status (QTLS).
