Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engine Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various mechanical systems and engines. Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on mechanical engines and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose faults and perform repairs using appropriate hand tools and power tools.
- Overhaul engines and mechanical components, replacing worn or damaged parts as necessary.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections accurately in accordance with company procedures.
- Assist in the assembly, disassembly, and testing of mechanical equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times during work activities.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance processes and troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven experience or strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engine maintenance. However full specific training will be given
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.
- Experience with power tools relevant to engine repair and maintenance tasks.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant technical qualification or apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or a related field is desirable but not essential for someone with the right aptitude
- Strong problem-solving skills coupled with attention to detail.
