Duties
- Administer/Order Medication
- Supervise and support junior care staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care
- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility, promoting dignity and independence
- Develop, review, and update personalized care plans in collaboration with residents and their families to meet individual needs
- Monitor residents’ health conditions, report changes promptly, and liaise with healthcare professionals as required
- Lead by example in maintaining cleanliness, safety protocols, and infection control standards within the care home
- Use IT systems to accurately document care activities, resident progress, and incident reports
- Proven experience in senior care or supervising within a care home setting with strong leadership qualities
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, colleagues, and external professionals
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual needs
- Strong IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and health & safety regulations within a care environment
- Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering teamwork and motivation
