Warehouse Operative – Vaping ProductsAbout the Role
We are looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to join our team and support the day-to-day movement of vaping and e-cigarette products through our warehouse.
You will play an important role in making sure stock is received, stored, picked, checked and dispatched accurately and on time. The role requires good attention to detail, a practical approach to work and the ability to follow company procedures, particularly when handling regulated and age-restricted products.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive deliveries and check incoming stock against delivery notes and purchase orders.
- Safely unload, move and store products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack customer and trade orders accurately according to picking instructions.
- Check products, quantities, batch information and packaging before orders are dispatched.
- Prepare parcels and pallets for collection by couriers and transport providers.
- Keep warehouse stock organised and ensure products are stored correctly.
- Update stock records using the company's warehouse or inventory management system.
- Carry out regular stock counts and report discrepancies, damaged goods or missing stock.
- Process returns and identify products requiring further inspection.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working area at all times.
- Follow company procedures relating to vaping products, including applicable age-restriction and compliance requirements.
- Ensure stock is handled carefully to prevent damage to products or packaging.
- Assist with loading and unloading vehicles when required.
- Work closely with warehouse colleagues, purchasing, customer service and dispatch teams to resolve stock or order issues.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures and report hazards promptly.
What We're Looking For

- Reliable, punctual and willing to work as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving warehouse.
- Able to work accurately when dealing with large numbers of products and orders.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, lifting and moving stock throughout the working day.
- Confident following written and verbal instructions.
- Able to maintain a high level of attention to detail when picking and checking orders.
- Responsible and professional when handling regulated and age-restricted products.
Previous warehouse experience is preferred, but we will consider candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
Working With Vaping Products
As our warehouse handles vaping and e-cigarette products, accuracy and compliance are particularly important. You will be expected to follow all internal procedures for receiving, storing, picking and dispatching products and to ensure that stock is handled in accordance with applicable UK requirements.
Training will be provided on our warehouse procedures, stock systems and product handling processes.
