The Best Connection are currently recruiting for Industrial Cleaners / Labourers to work on the Coal & Coke Side at British Steel, Scunthorpe.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established team working regular daytime hours with excellent overtime opportunities.
Shift Pattern
Monday to Friday
08:00 - 16:00
Pay Rates
£12.71 per hour (First 12 weeks)
£13.09 per hour (After 12 weeks)
Weekday Overtime: £16.52 per hour
Weekend Overtime: £19.07 per hour
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Industrial Cleaner/Labourer, your duties will include:
Industrial cleaning of plant, machinery, walkways and work areas
Shovelling and removal of coal, coke and process waste
General housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe working environment
Cleaning spillages and removing debris from operational areas
Assisting site teams with general labouring duties
Operating industrial cleaning equipment and tools
Supporting maintenance activities when required
Adhering to all health & safety procedures and site regulations
Candidate Requirements
Reliable and hardworking
Able to work in a heavy industrial environment
Physically fit and capable of manual labour
Previous industrial cleaning, labouring or manufacturing experience beneficial but not essential
Strong commitment to health and safety
