Youth Helper work directly with young people in St John Ambulance Badger Setts and Cadet Units. By supporting our Youth Leaders to deliver a sessions across our range of programmes. In this role, you'll support the learning and development of young people into the next generation of health citizens. Youth Helpers also help young people develop their confidence, teamwork skills, self-discipline, and generally encourage them to strive to be the best they can be, as well as supervise and support other adult volunteers in their team.

In the county of Oxfordshire, however applicants are needed for all youth units within the county details of which are below, applicants can offer up for one or more of the groups depending on their availability.
Oxford City Cadet Group - who meet on a Tuesday night at 18:00 at St Peter & St Paul Church, 81 Westway, Botley, Oxford, OX2 9JY
Kidlington Badger Sett - who meet on a Monday night at 17:45 at 40 High Street, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 2DN
Kidlington Cadet Group - who meet on a Monday night at 19:00 at 40 High Street, Kidlington, Oxfordshire, OX5 2DN
Banbury Badger Sett - who meet on a Wednesday night at 17:00 at Cherwell Business Village, Southam Road, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 2SP
Banbury Cadet Group - who meet on a Wednesday night at 18:15 at Cherwell Business Village, Southam Road, Banbury, Oxfordshire, OX16 2SP
Thame Cadet Group - who were meeting on a Wednesday night at 19:00 at Christ Church, 34 Upper High Street, Thame, Oxfordshire, OX9 2DN
Applications will be reviewed every 2 weeks and interviews scheduled accordingly, training will be booked on a cohort basis using existing training bookings or depending on application numbers scheduled accordingly as needed
