Thrive Oldham is recruiting for a reliable experienced Warehouse Operative to be working for our client in Chadderton area with previous long‑term experience in similar roles.
What you will be doing:
put away stock, packing items, manual handling, using warehouse computer system, heavy lifting (max 25kgs), so a good level of physical fitness is essential packing experience at least 12months
You must be able to reach daily targets given by your supervisor.
What you will need to succeed:
PC literate
A strong work history with long contracts in past positions is essential, demonstrating commitment and consistency
Must be able to read and follow instructions in English language, have strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and be a team player.
you must have an experience in put away, loading, unloading, in picking, packing and IT knowledge (Office knowledge and use of warehousing software).
Any warehouse vehicle machinery certificates or experience in driving LLOP/PPT/FLT is a plus. Candidates would be open to do overtime with short or same day notice according to business needs.
Candidates would need to be comfortable with doing , various jobs in the warehouse, loading, unloadingm lifting heavy boxes (max 25kg) able to undertake training for vehicles and for the warehouse computer system

What you will receive in return:
Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour
Contract: long term ongoing/temporary
Area: Chadderton,
Hours: Monday - Friday
830am-430pm and 9am-5pm with availability to work additional hours at short notice after your original shift
Consideration to apply for this job should also be given to the distance required for travel, along with a willingness to be flexible in working full or part time hours with overtime when needed.
