Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Chef (Saturdays and Sundays) for our wonderful family run private boarding school nestled in the Surrey Hills. We are looking for a talented individual to join our team producing and serving freshly prepared meals for Boarders between 40 to 60 covers and 150 covers when show rehearsals are on with additional support using top quality locally sourced products. We have a modern well-equipped kitchen and a full sized outside wood burning pizza oven.
The position will include the preparation of our fresh food offer and serving customers, as well as supporting the weekend team. Uniform will be provided.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a busy catering environment and be able to work as part of a team. You will be rewarded with a competitive salary.
Due to the remote location and lack of public transport, your own transport is essential.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
Part time hours: 18 hours per week - Saturday and Sunday 9am- 19.00pm, with an hour unpaid break. Term time plus Summer school (40 weekends per year). Other hours and flexibility with shift pattern are available for the right candidate and we are always looking to chat to prospective employees.
