Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards. ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff alike. Candidates should possess a proactive attitude and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and Knowladge of COSHH and standards in a care environment.
Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness of designated areas
- Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- preforming Deep cleans of bedrooms and communal areas.
- Handle specialised cleaning tasks including window washing, carpet cleaning, and surface disinfection as required
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll to ensure continuous availability, good stock control.
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or contamination
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties to management promptly
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good working order through regular checks and basic maintenance
Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
- Experience in working in a care environment advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict hygiene standards
- Organised with excellent attention to detail to ensure thorough cleanliness across all areas
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
