Based in Attleborough, Banham Poultry is one of the fastest-growing businesses within Boparan (which also owns 2 Sisters Food Group) and is one of the largest employers in Norfolk. We are committed to producing high-quality food products and supplying many of the UK’s leading retailers, restaurants and wholesalers.
We are expanding our Technical team and are looking for a passionate and motivated Quality Assurance Lead to support our site in maintaining the highest standards of food safety, legality and quality.
As part of the Technical team, you will play a key role in supporting our colleagues, promoting a strong food safety culture and ensuring our products meet the high standards expected by our customers.

Previous experience and skills:
- Experience within a Technical, Quality or Food Manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of food safety, quality standards and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting teams and improving standards on the factory floor.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
Desirable:
- Experience working within a Technical/Quality role.
- Knowledge of BRCGS and retailer codes of practice.
- Food manufacturing qualification or relevant technical training.
- Understanding of Food Safety Culture.
Training provided where required:
- Level 3 Food Safety
- Level 3 HACCP
- Subject Matter Expert training
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support QA and Process Controller teams to ensure food safety, quality and legal standards are maintained.
- Provide coaching, guidance and support to colleagues within the Technical team.
- Promote positive behaviours and a strong food safety culture across the site.
- Complete quality inspections, product checks and technical verification activities.
- Support investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure traceability, sampling and product control procedures are followed.
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Despatch, Hygiene and L&D teams to maintain standards.
- Support internal audits and ensure the site remains customer and audit ready.
