We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to join our organisation. Duties
- Welcome visitors and direct them appropriately, ensuring a positive first impression of the organisation
- Answer incoming calls promptly and courteously, directing enquiries to the relevant departments
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings using organisational tools
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or QuickBooks as required
- Maintain a tidy and organised reception area, ensuring all materials are well-presented
- Handle correspondence via email and postal mail, ensuring timely distribution and filing
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and document preparation
- Support other administrative staff with various clerical duties to ensure smooth office operations
Qualifications
- Proven office experience or previous administrative roles preferred
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace applications
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Exceptional phone etiquette and communication skills
- Fast and accurate typing skills for data entry purposes
- Demonstrated clerical experience with attention to detail and confidentiality
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a professional manner
