Duties
- Safely operate a <PERSON> driver vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Load, unload, and organize packages in the warehouse before delivery routes
- Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and minimize delays
- Deliver packages promptly to residential and commercial addresses with professionalism
- Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status or any issues
- Handle heavy lifting of packages, ensuring proper safety techniques are followed at all times
- Complete delivery documentation accurately and report any discrepancies or damages
Skills
- Proven delivery driver experience with a strong track record of punctuality and reliability
- Excellent driving skills with a valid <PERSON> driver license and a clean driving record
- Experience with commercial driving vehicles preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of daily duties
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members and customers
- Warehouse experience is a plus, providing familiarity with loading/unloading procedures
- Knowledge of local traffic laws and navigation tools for efficient route planning
