About the Role:
As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in leading practice, supporting the team, and ensuring exceptional care and learning opportunities for all children. You will work closely with the management team to help embed our ethos and standards from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery room
- Act as a role model to staff, promoting high standards of care and education
- Contribute to planning, observation, and assessment in line with the Curriculum for Wales and CIW requirements
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider team
- Mentor and support junior team members
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 qualification in Children’s Care, Play, Learning and Development (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an early years setting
- Sound knowledge of child development and CIW regulations
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Passionate, reliable, and ready to help shape a new, vibrant nursery community
