“Sky’s Music Department provides a first-class service across the Sky Group and its Joint Venture partners in relation to all music matters. The Music Licensing team is seeking a Music Licensing Associate to provide full administrative and sync licensing support across across the team’s busy remit”
Sky’s Music Department is part of Sky Entertainment Group - Sky’s original programming arm across Europe - and provides a wide range of resource and support different business areas across the Sky Group. The main content areas of the business served are Sky Entertainment, Sky Sports, Sky Cinema and Sky Creative with the department structured by way of four individual teams: Licensing, Creative, SATV and Reporting.
What you'll do
Programming/Promo content: support the team’s music supervision and licensing activity across Sky’s scripted and unscripted content, Sports, News and Promos. This includes liaising with independent producers/creatives, arranging introductory communications and meetings, securing sync licences, tracking licence and invoice statuses, maintaining production trackers and providing essential administrative support to the wider team.
MusicBox, Sky’s in-house music clearance system: onboard and train new users, support producers and promo creatives, and respond to a wide range of music clearance enquiries.
Key administrative support: process business-critical invoices through Ariba-SAP, handle payment queries from external suppliers, maintain compliant document storage in line with company GDPR policy and support Sky Music’s submissions to industry awards.
What you'll bring
Working knowledge of collecting society repertoire databases, such as PRS for Music Works, PPL Repertoire, BMI Songview and ASCAP Repertory.
A collaborative, client-facing approach, with a positive can-do attitude and the ability to help colleagues find practical, creative solutions.
Confident using Microsoft Office, Copilot and other Gen AI tools, Microsoft Teams, Ariba-SAP and Airtable, with the ability to create polished and engaging presentations.

We've adopted a hybrid working approach to give more flexibility on where and how we work. The hybrid working expectations for this role are 3 days in the office per week.
