Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE to join our team in a busy warehouse environment. The ideal candidate would ideally have a transferrable, nationally recognised up-to-date FORKLIFT TRUCK LICENCE. The candidate will be responsible for handling materials, unloading and packing orders and conducting quality control checks
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to load and unload goods, if qualified to do so
- Efficiently handle materials and products within the warehouse
- Accurately pack orders for shipment
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure all items meet standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the warehouse
- Carry out pre-use checks on machinery
- Complete Health & Safety training and pay attention to Health & Safety issues that are relevant to this site
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is advantageous
- A forklift licence is desirable. The licence must be transferrable and nationally recognised. Unfortunately, in-house FLT licences are not acceptable.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
