Job Summary
We are seeking a nanny to look after our 2 children aged 3.5 years and 15 months. The applicant must have previous nanny experience and have ideally looked after at least 2 children.
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive childcare, ensuring children’s safety, well-being, and emotional comfort at all times
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and physical development
- Assist with daily routines including meal preparation, feeding, bathing, dressing, and nap schedules
- Occasionaly nursery drop off and pick up for our eldest child
- Maintain a clean and organized environment related to children’s belongings and play areas, doing children laundry.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding children’s progress, needs, and any concerns
- Willing to do light housework
Qualifications
- Proven experience in nannying or childcare roles with references available upon request
- Strong knowledge of child development principles and safety protocols
- Ability to drive safely with a valid driver’s license; a car is provided at work
- Excellent teaching skills in both English and French languages; bilingual proficiency highly valued
- DBS and first aid training
The hours are 7.30am - 6.30pm Mon-Friday with 1 babysit per week until 9.30-10pm. Role holder will need to be willing to do 1 overnight a month whent the parents are away.
The role is mostly sole charge of our youngest daughter as our eldest daughter is at nursery full time. However, the role holder but be able to safely look after both girls together in nursery holidays, breakfast and dinner time etc.
Pay: From £17.00 per hour
