Spray & Harvest Operations Operator

At Boxford Farms, we're looking for a motivated and reliable Spray & Harvest Operations Operator to help us grow, protect and deliver top-quality fruit that reaches supermarket shelves across the UK.
Every day is different. One day you'll be applying crop protection programmes with precision, the next you'll be coordinating fruit deliveries from field to packhouse, ensuring every punnet arrives in perfect condition.
What You'll Be Doing - Protect Our Crops
- Deliver spray programmes safely and accurately in line with harvest plans.
- Apply crop protection products at the right time to maximise yield and fruit quality.
- Mix and apply chemicals correctly following spray tickets and industry standards.
- Calibrate, maintain and carry out pre-use checks on sprayers and associated machinery.
- Monitor chemical usage, stock levels and application records.
Keep the Harvest Moving
- Coordinate the collection and transport of fruit from field to packhouse.
- Ensure fruit is delivered quickly and carefully to maintain exceptional quality.
- Maximise trailer loads and follow efficient routes to reduce transport costs.
- Record deliveries accurately and communicate harvest intervals effectively.
Deliver Outstanding Quality
- Help produce fruit that meets demanding supermarket C1 quality standards.
- Ensure machinery is operating efficiently and safely.
- Work to the highest standards of care, precision and attention to detail.
Be Part of a Great Team
- Work closely with harvest supervisors, forecasting teams and the packhouse.
- Communicate effectively to keep operations running smoothly.
- Support and coach colleagues when required.
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude every day.
Safety Comes First
- Follow all Health & Safety, COSHH and NRoSO requirements.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Handle, store and dispose of chemicals safely and responsibly.
- Maintain all required training and licences.
- Comply with company policies, road safety legislation and industry standards.

- Has excellent attention to detail.
- Can communicate confidently with colleagues across the farm.
- Works well independently and as part of a team.
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) the appropriate spraying qualifications and licences.
