About us
We understand that there are a lot of providers out there, with new companies appearing all the time. We may be a small organisation, but we are a knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate one.
Our Operations Director has worked in children’s residential care for over 20 years, our Responsible Individual has 16 years of experience, and I, as the Home Manager, have 7 years of experience working in children’s homes.
Together, we know how children’s homes should be run and, more importantly, how they can be run when children are truly at the centre of everything we do. We are deeply committed to creating a home where children feel safe, loved, nurtured, and supported to become the very best version of themselves. For us, this is not just a job; it is a responsibility and a privilege.
What we are looking for in our Deputy Manager
We are looking for a Deputy Manager who brings passion, creativity, and resilience to our home.
We need someone who has the confidence to say “no” when boundaries are needed and the strength to stand by those decisions. Equally, we want someone who knows when to drop the rope, lean in with curiosity, and offer nurture and understanding.
You will understand that behaviour is communication and be genuinely curious about what each child may be trying to express through their actions. We are looking for a leader who can both guide and nurture a team, helping them become the very best adults they can be for the children in our care.
Most importantly, we want someone with both the heart and the knowledge to help our children and our home thrive. We believe that an Ofsted judgement of “Good” should be the minimum standard, not the destination. We aim for Outstanding in our practice every day. Our focus is always on being child ready first; when children’s needs are truly met, being Ofsted ready naturally follows.
Interested?
If you are ready for your next adventure and would like to be part of the founding team of our home, helping to create and shape the culture from the very beginning, and ensuring that children are always at the heart of every decision, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for someone who shares our values, our ambition, and our commitment to providing children with a home where they can feel safe, valued, and supported to thrive.
If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please register your interest and we can arrange an informal chat to discuss the role, answer any questions you may have, and explore whether we would be a good fit for one another.
