SolarFrame Direct is Yorkshire’s leading distributor and installer of home improvement products.
As Installations Manager you are responsible for overseeing and managing the end-to-end installation process of our products, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety regulations. This role plays a crucial part in delivering high-standard installations while leading and supporting the installation teams to meet business objectives.
Responsibilites include:
- Daily management of the Installation Coordinators
- Oversee all active projects.
- Providing expert technical support to the wider team
- Approve and order additional products and materials when required
- Resolve all site issues in a timely manner
- Communicate with the wider business regarding project statuses
- Manage customer debt ensuring it is kept to a minimum
- Complete site visits when required – Problems/debt
- Ensure all projects are adequately controlled
- Resolve customer complaints and disputes in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure that subcontractors comply with our ‘Code of Conduct’
- Ensure that installation teams have adequate supplies of Uniform and PPE
- Be the main point of contact for our designated Building Control company
- Continually strive to identify department efficiencies
- Adopt and implement all business processes and procedures
- Ensure Health and Safety and regulatory compliance
- Provide support to the service department
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, installations environment. You will be capable of handling multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of organisation and professionalism.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in Installation processes
- Technical expertise and people management
- Must have previous experience completing quality fitting works
- Fenestration industry experience
- Construction knowledge
- Health and Safety and CDM knowledge
- Famililar with MS Office
- Intermediate+ IT skills
- Driving for work
- Knowledge of various trades
- Completing Site Inspections
