Vacancy: Gymnastics Instructor
Sapphire Gymnastics Club is a community-focused charity dedicated to providing accessible gymnastics opportunities. They are currently seeking a qualified Gymnastics Coach to join their team and help grow their club to support more children.
The Role
The aim of this position is to help develop and expand Sapphire’s gymnastics programme based at Smart Gym’s Unit 2 in The Wedge, Pollok. Opportunities to work at their Baillieston and Maryhill locations may also arise.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering structured, high-quality gymnastics sessions.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all children during classes.
- Adapting coaching methods to suit varying ages and abilities.
- Representing the charity professionally and helping to foster a positive, inclusive club environment.
Position Details:
- Hours: 3 to 6 hours per week (Sunday availability preferred).
- Rate of pay: £12.71 per hour (age 21 and over) | £10.85 per hour (under 21).
- Primary location: Unit 2, Smart Gym, Pollok (opposite Silverburn). Potential cover in Baillieston and Maryhill
Essential Requirements
- Qualifications: Valid UKCC Level 2 Gymnastics Coach certification. We welcome applicants from any gymnastics discipline.
- Safeguarding: Vadid PVG with Disclosure Scotland.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, reliability, and a visible interest in coaching children.
