Overview
We are seeking a self employed reliable UPVC Installer to join our team Monday - Friday 07:30-16:00. The successful candidate must be able to drive and will be responsible for installing UPVC fascia, soffit boards, guttering and related fixtures on residential and commercial projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction and a keen eye for detail to contribute to high-quality building projects. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to develop their skills within the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, and assemble UPVC components accurately according to project specifications
- Install UPVC doors, fascias, soffits, and cladding on various building types
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and building regulations
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete installations efficiently
- Prepare work sites by clearing debris and ensuring a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes
- Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure durability and aesthetic standards
- Assist with other construction tasks as required, including minor repairs or adjustments
Skills
- Proven experience in UPVC installation or related construction fields such as roofing, carpentry, or masonry
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques used in installation work
- Physical fitness to handle lifting, bending, and working at heights as needed
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with colleagues
