Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. Duties
- Perform TIG welding and other welding techniques on diverse metal materials, ensuring strong, durable joints.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and structural components.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide fabrication processes.
- Measure materials accurately using basic math skills to ensure precise cuts and assemblies.
- Conduct quality inspections throughout the fabrication process to verify adherence to standards.
- Assemble fabricated parts into finished products or subassemblies with attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on project timelines and technical challenges.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in TIG welding, welding techniques, or similar methods.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in metalworking.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of metal properties, fabrication processes, and assembly techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics accurately.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks.
- Familiarity with sheet metal work and general welding safety standards.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with effective problem-solving abilities.
