Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated Weekend Housekeeping Staff to join our team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction. The position is ideal for individuals with a keen eye for detail who are available to work during weekends. Prior experience in hospitality or janitorial services is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. All roles are paid, reflecting the importance of your contribution to our guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards
- Change bed linen, make beds, and replenish amenities as required
- Remove rubbish and ensure all surfaces are dust-free and spotless
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe environment
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and cleaning products
- Assist guests with their requests courteously and professionally when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping is mandatory
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks
- Reliable availability during weekends, particularly Saturdays and Sundays
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent guest service
