We are looking for kind and caring people who want to make a difference to the lives of others to join our team of Care Workers. The successful candidates will support adults with a wide range of services which are tailored to individual needs and a commitment to supporting people in their own homes. Responsibilities include Light cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation, medication, personal care, help to get dressed, washing and bathing, appointments, and social activities, as well as supervising adults when accompanying them out of the home. You’ll do it all with the full support of our fantastic team of office staff and existing Care Workers.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal tasks such as laundry, bathing, and meal preparation.
- Provide recreational and social activities for clients.
- Assess client's needs and devise goals for care.
- Communicate with clients' friends and family members to maintain client support network.
- Manage transportation costs and schedule appointments with outside medical professionals.
- Administer medication to clients.
- Coordinate care between home and outside medical professionals.
