The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Practitioner to join our community focused team at Cowley Road Medical Practice in Oxford on a permanent Contract.
You will be supported by, and work with, a diverse multiskilled professional team of clinical and non-clinical approachable staff. In return you will provide high quality, person centred clinical care to our patients.
The role will incorporate all the various aspects of day-to-day general practice in a combination of acute presentations by patients (through duty doctor sessions) as well as chronic disease/long term conditions monitoring and management (through routine telephone/face to face appointment sessions) and managing a patient list of around 250 patients per session ( i.e. 3 session GP will have an allocated list of 750 patients, 7 session GP will have an allocated list of 1,750 patients).
