Lohmann GB are currently recruiting a part time Farm Assistant to join our small team producing hatching eggs based in Denver.
Daily duties include
· Grading and Packing eggs for hatching
· Walking the birds to collect any mislaid eggs , also checking feed and water along with general wellbeing
· Working as part of a small team to maintain a clean and safe working environment
The Applicant(s)
· Someone who can work well as part of a small team
· Confident to work un-assisted if required
· Reliable and punctual
· Good attention to detail
· Ready to learn new skills
· Must not keep poultry or other avian species
Expected hours will be 2 weekday shifts (5 hours per shift) and alternate weekend shifts (6 hours per shift) at time and half
Experience is not essential as all training will be provided, there is always room for progression within the company for the right candidate.
Job share would be considered.
The weekend shift is maternity cover.
