Warehouse Operative / Reach Forklift Driver
Reach Forklift Licence Essential
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a current Reach Truck licence to join our warehouse team.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 05:00 to 14:00
Salary
- Initial probationary period: 3 months
- Upon successful completion of probation: £27,040 per annum
- Salary progression may be accelerated depending on performance, ability, and how quickly you adapt to the role.
Key ResponsibilitiesGoods In & Dispatch
- Unload and load vehicles during morning goods-in and dispatch operations.
- Accurately check and process incoming deliveries.
Stock Replenishment
- Replenish stock within:
- Frozen storage areas
- Chilled storage areas
- Ambient warehouse locations
Warehouse Operations
- Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse activities.
- Carry out general warehouse duties as required.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and stock organisation.
Cold Store Operations
- The majority of goods-in activity will involve frozen products within the cold store.
- There will also be some work involving chilled and ambient products.
- Full freezer clothing and protective workwear are provided.
Compliance & Quality
- Work in accordance with BRC standards and company procedures for goods receipt, storage, and stock control.
- Follow all health and safety requirements.
Essential Requirements
- Current Reach Forklift Truck licence.
- Previous Reach Truck operating experience.
- Experience working within a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in cold-store conditions.
- Good attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
